North Carolina, Known historically as Stump Town, just
on the southeast side of Charlotte, host an annual civil
war reenactment. Mr. Calhoun contributed an illustration
“Marching Boots” for The Matthews News and
Record, the local newspaper. |

Chuck Calhoun participated the the Third
annual Silver Brush Society Artist show to benefit the Matthews
Help Center, a home for families in need and crisis. In
2004 The Silver Brush Society raising nearly $4000 dollars
, which went to fund the building of a new facility just
opened in 2005 in Matthews.

Chuck Calhoun returning as 2005 President of the Charlotte
Artists Society. Mr. Calhoun was 2004 Guild of Charlotte
Artist president as well as Charlotte Artist Society president
in 2004. Additionally, Mr. Calhoun is a Professional Member

Channel 6 (NBC6) Television Studio in Charlotte North Carolina
through January 2005. This esd 20 painting exhibition of
Mr. Calhoun’s representative landscapes and subject
studies.

Promenade near Providence Road and I485 intersections in
South Charlotte. Currently on hand is a series of Mr. Calhoun’s

ARTISTS WANTED: Chuck Calhoun is continuing
as exhibition coordinator of the WCNC Channel 6 (NBC6) Artists
Exhibit in 2005 for the third consecutive year. WCNC6 Station
is located in Charlotte next to Billy Graham Pkwy. Exhibits
are arranged for regional artists for one-man shows of approximately
12-17 pieces maximum #. Exhibits last approximately one
month. Artists interested should contact Mr. Calhoun
at 704-847-2111 or send one Artists Bio Page (which includes
artists photo, artists statement, representative artwork,
and artist’s contact data). Include SASE if material
is to be returned, otherwise material will not be returned.

Mr. Calhoun is exhibiting at Bank of America Founders Hall
(near the Ben Long Fresco) in uptown Charlotte for one week
beginning Sunday, March 20, 2005 as a participant with the
Charlotte Artists Society.
